Typical lens design suffer from illumination drop from center to edge. Despite the cosine law there is the possibility for optical designers to avoid this drop of light. You can have 100% illumination over the whole field of view!
Morover the LSF Series additionally offers F# 1.8. Thatfore IB/E OPTICS LSF series yields ultimate light performance.
Micro lenses in front of CCD arrays cause additional vignetting due to divergent rays at the image plane. Especially wide angle lenses suffer from lower illumination at the edge.
IB/E OPTICS Low Shading lenses avoid these effects.
The image quality was improved by the use of high-quality, abnormal glasses regarding light-waste, distortion and MTF.
Low Shading lenses for 11mm - 18mm sensors
These lenses out of the Low Shading optics family are much smaller than the Ø 28 mm sensor systems.
Each system has 9 to 12 lenses. With MTF-values above 80 % for 40 lp/mm over the whole field the lens is extremely constant.
The lenses all are assembled with our OptoAlignment technique to asure best performance while observing the centration of each element in the assembly process.
A main attention is put on the high-quality mechanics moreover. So as mount-material steel, brass and/or high-solid aluminium is used, which doesn't loose the diameter quality also after repeated change of the optics or focussing plays.
The focus-instinct is taken for multiple threads.
The correction and the mechanically high-quality implementation predestines the optics for the use at High End Digital cameras. All lenses possess a variable iris and a variable focus. Optional both are to fixate.
