The fast IBELUX lens is ideally suited for mirrorless cameras. It is a lens with character, due to its aperture of F0,85 (T0,9) you get an incredible performance in low light situations and a soft and beautiful bokeh.

The IBELUX with a speed of 0,85 and focal lengths of 40mm for APS-C comes in glossy black and is initially available for Sony E, Fuji X, Leica SL and Leica M mount systems. Further focal lengths and mounts will follow.

The design calculated with demand for highest image quality for digital sensors is based on classic constructions. Without autofocus and electronic aperture control also for the version with Sony E and Fuji X mount systems.

As a result, the photographer is in the complete control when selecting the focus point and thus the original photography experience is preserved compared to autofocus lenses.

Contrary to current trends where more and more plastic is used, the mechanics here are based, just as with the IBELUX f.085/40mm, on proven quality and rugged and long-lasting metal construction with anodized aluminum, brass and stainless steel.

The IBELUX lens is distinguished by timeless design and high-quality workmanship.

The IBELUX lens is based on German engineering by IB/E optics. Prototypes were developed, assembled and tested in Germany. 

IB/E optics’ mechanical and optical design for the IBELUX is also being used by the eponymous IBELUX lens series by Kipon.
