Lens Baby Edge 80, 50 mm and Sweet 35

IB/E optics is proud to be part of the innovative ideas for Lens Baby founder Craig Strong.

The awarded Edge 80mm, the Edge 50mm and the Sweet 35mm were designed by IB/E optics.

IB/E optics IBELUX 0,85/40mm

The fast IBELUX lens is ideally suited for mirrorless cameras. It is a lens with character, due to its aperture of F0,85 (T0,9) you get an incredible performance in low light situations and a soft and beautiful bokeh.

The IBELUX with a speed of 0,85 and focal lengths of 40mm for APS-C comes in glossy black and is initially available for Sony E, Fuji X, Leica SL and Leica M mount systems. Further focal lengths and mounts will follow.

The design calculated with demand for highest image quality for digital sensors is based on classic constructions. Without autofocus and electronic aperture control also for the version with Sony E and Fuji X mount systems.

As a result, the photographer is in the complete control when selecting the focus point and thus the original photography experience is preserved compared to autofocus lenses.

Contrary to current trends where more and more plastic is used, the mechanics here are based, just as with the IBELUX f.085/40mm, on proven quality and rugged and long-lasting metal construction with anodized aluminum, brass and stainless steel.

The IBELUX lens is distinguished by timeless design and high-quality workmanship.

The IBELUX lens is based on German engineering by IB/E optics. Prototypes were developed, assembled and tested in Germany.

IB/E optics’ mechanical and optical design for the IBELUX is also being used by the eponymous IBELUX lens series by Kipon.

BavEyes boosters for fullframe and medium format lenses

IB/E optics was responsible for the optic and mechanic design of the speedbooster „BavEyes“. IB/E designed several different systems to fit nearly all known brands in the market to speed up 24x36mm lenses as well as medium format lenses as Hasselblad.

So the L/R-Nex title means Leica lenses in use with Sony NEX . A Leica R 4,0/35-70 mm will become a 2,8/24,5-49 mm and delivers the same field of view on the SONY NEX camera as the original lens on a Leica Body.

IB/E optics IBERIT 2,4/24, 35, 50, 75 and 90mm

The compact IBERIT lenses are ideally suited for mirrorless cameras. They are small and fast enough to handle any and all photographic situations. For instance, cropping portraits or landscape and street photography. All capabilities for image composition and visual imagery can be creatively realized with the manual lenses.

The puristic IBERIT lenses with a constant speed of 2.4 and focal lengths of 24, 35, 50, 75 and 90 mm come in glossy black, frosted black, glossy silver and frosted silver and are initially available for Sony E, Fuji X, Leica SL and Leica M mount systems. Further focal lengths and mounts will follow.

During the development particular attention was placed on achieving a light weight and compact size in order to live up to guiding principle of mirrorless cameras. IBERIT lenses can be used on cameras with full frame sensors as well as cameras with APS-C sensors.
